yeah i iced some tea jasmine, green, lemon, bit of sugar in the raw (white needs restockin’), lemon slices and sun and brew cooled it off in the fridge - wished i could join served in a mason jar with a handle im so cool

and this is… few days old tofu, drained, cubed, draped with a mixture of good quality soy sauce, hoisin sauce and a bit of ume plum vinegar, just because it smells so good. under a drift of thinly sliced scallions and a pinch of chili flakes, heaven. ideally would pair with sesame oil (which i like, rarely) but i searched the pantry and there is none so i go buy.

it’s one hundred and two (million) degrees outside i couldn’t bear to move, but i need to eat i’m poor and there’s tofu in a tupperware in the fridge, so you do the math

HEY KIDS!
(remember when i used to cook?) i finally got off my fat, take-out loving ass and cooked up some dinner. got me some frozen salmon filets (courtesy of costco and mom) and some sad looking zucchini from the fine fare and made a little dinner for one. (miriam ate her miso soup and pasta across the table) salmon - salt, pepper, olive oil and a couple lemon slices. get a nice crust going on one...

i love sausage but it’s hard to get kosher [meat] sausage so i have to use fake sausage, instead.
